The Red Dot Design Award is one of the world’s largest design competitions. The Red Dot Label has become established internationally as one of the most sought-after marks of quality for good design. To appraise the diversity in this field in a professional manner, the Red Dot Design Award breaks down into three disciplines. Competitions for each of these disciplines are held once every year.
In 2022, designers, design offices and manufacturers from around 60countries entered products in the Red Dot Award: Product Design. Followingthe motto, “In search of good design and innovation”, the 48 internationalmembers of the Red Dot Jury assessed each product entered professionally,individually and comprehensively. Only those products that won over theexperts with their outstanding design quality won a distinction.

The Newport’s 2” speaker is housed in a 3.62” x 2.48” x 3.35” enclosure that nearly disappears. Though compact, the Newport pumps out a powerful sound for such a small speaker, thanks to countless hours of research and fine-tuning that results in sonics that contradicts its small form factor.

A “Party Mode” makes it easy to spread the music across multiple speakers with a push of a button. Up to 50 speakers can be added to the single stream, if they are within range and sight of the source’s Bluetooth transmitter.
